Playgrounds, amusement and water parks to open July 2

June 23, the governor of NJ announced that as of July 2, outdoor playgrounds, water parks and amusement parks may reopen. Water and amusement parks may only reopen to 50% capacity.


The island has multiple playgrounds available in both towns including Surfside Park and the 39th Street Park.


The nearest amusement and water parks are located in Wildwood, NJ, just over the Stone Harbor bridge. They are Morey's Piers & Beachfront Waterparks.
